PERFORMANCE
The WC33 has a nice mulching function and can cut yards of up to two acres. It offers a wider cut than most mowers and is far more efficient than 21-inch gas powered mowers and can handle steep grades in an excellent way, but you shouldn’t run it up and down rather than lengthwise, and it’s ideal for large terrains.
The grass chute spews grass straight downward instead of spreading it outward, so it leaves grass chunks between passes, and the chute can’t be adjusted to go vertical, so you will have problems if you want to store the machine in tight spaces.
However, it features durable wheels which are 8 inches in the front and 16 inches in the back, which offers added maneuverability.
EASE OF USE
As we mentioned in the overview, the WC33 looks like a mini-tractor, and that’s because is really big and you will probably struggle at first to use the control grip properly, and you will have to master that skill. For example, you will require some time to get used to the controls when you make a turn, but thanks to the variable forward speeds and the instant-turn maneuverability of the zero-turn function, your life will be easier. Eventually, you will find it easy to use and control, and you will enjoy the brisk walk behind while you use it.
You just have to turn a key to start it, but because of the great power that comes through on the handlebar of this mower, it won’t be suitable for persons who don’t have enough strength, but you will enjoy using this machine over time. For the last, the WC33 can be louder than the typical gas-powered mower, so you should use ear plugs while using it.
CUT QUALITY AND OPTIONS
This mower can cut grass easily, however, you should keep in mind that you will have to make several runs if you want to cut really tall grass, and you should make a tall height adjustment for best performance. The front of the handle can bounce on rough terrain and will force you to keep concentrated to keep de mowing lines straight. However, the great part is that this model is designed to don’t stall, no matter the size of the grass you want to cut.
The WC33 has side discharge and can mulch, and you can purchase a bag collector for it, but note that the bag lays up against the rear wheel which can form a hole. The nice part is that this model is very gas-efficient.
