  • a quarter cup of light soy sauce (Reduced sodium is preferred but regular will work)

  • Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1/2 teaspoon)
  • a quarter teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • Rice that is white (Best and easiest with a rice cooker)

Korean Ground Beef Cooking Instructions

This is an excellent moment to start the rice cooker. It’s time to get the ground beef on the Blackstone for this wonderful Korean Ground Beef Rice Bowl when the white rice has approximately 5 minutes left.

Alternate between the left and right sides of the grill to brown the meat and drive the fat back into the grease trap as it cooks. As a result, you won’t wind up with a giant greasy mess at the end.

Pour half of the Korean sauce over the ground beef once it has been browned and most of the fat has been pushed back to the trap.

A couple of times, flip the ground meat.

Over the ground beef, pour the remaining Korean sauce. To avoid overcooking, flip it a few more times and pull it.

  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • Rice that is white (Best and easiest with a rice cooker)

Instructions

  1. Combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, crushed red pepper flakes, and ground ginger in a sauce bowl. Mix everything up well.
  2. In a rice cooker, combine white rice and water.
  3. Place the meat on the Blackstone Griddle with the heat set to high when the rice has been cooking for 5 minutes.
  4. Brown the beef in the same way you would if you were preparing taco seasoning. To remove the bulk of the grease, rotate the beef from the left side of the griddle to the right and push the grease back to the grease trap each time.
  5. Add half of the Korean sauce after the beef is done and turn the meat a couple of times. Pull the Korean Ground Beef and stir in the remaining Korean sauce.
  6. Serve over a bed of freshly cooked white rice.

Notes

Simply sprinkle some crushed red pepper flakes on top if you want it to be spicier.

Another way to boost the taste is to sprinkling a few sesame seeds on top.
