- 1 pound chicken wings (Otto’s recommended)
- a quarter cup of butter (unsalted)
- Garlic powder, 2 tablespoons
- 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, grated
- Cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon (Optional)
- Garnish with parsley (Optional)
In the Air Fryer, Make Buttery Garlic Parmesan Wings
To help prevent the wings from adhering to the rotisserie basket as it turns, lightly spray it with Pam.
In the rotisserie basket, place the chicken wings.
In the air fryer, place the basket.
Turn the air fryer to air fry mode, set the timer for 30 minutes, and start it at 400 degrees.
Check to see whether your rotisserie basket is spinning. It’s a nice time to start the sauce while the wings are cooking in the air fryer.
How to Make Garlic Parmesan Buttery Wing Sauce
Reduce the heat to the lowest setting, add the butter, and wait until it melts.
After the butter has melted, stir in the garlic powder.
Cayenne pepper should be added after the garlic powder.
Combine the garlic powder and cayenne pepper in a mixing bowl, but skip the grated Parmesan cheese.
When the air fryer has approximately 10 minutes remaining on it, add the Parmesan cheese to the wing sauce.
Combine the Parmesan sauce and set aside until the wings are done.
Remove the wings from the basket and put them in a closeable Tupperware container.
Pour the Buttery Garlic Parmesan sauce over the wings in an even layer.
Toss the wings in the sauce gently to evenly coat them.
Plate the wings, sprinkle with a bit more Parmesan cheese, and garnish as desired.

Instructions
- Lightly spray the rotisserie basket with some Pam to assist with preventing the wings from sticking to the basket as it rotates. Place the chicken wings in the rotisserie basket and In the air fryer, place the basket.
- Turn the air fryer to air fry mode, set the timer for 30 minutes, and keep the temperature at 400 degrees. Start it up and make sure the basket is configured to revolve.
- Make the Garlic Parmesan wing sauce while the wings are frying and becoming nice and crispy.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- When the butter is melted, add the garlic powder, Parmesan cheese & cayenne pepper. Mix together well and let it sit on low heat stirring as needed.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese with approximately 10 minutes remaining on the air fryer timer.
- Once the wings are done (and the internal temperature is at least 165 degrees), remove them from the air fryer and throw them in a dish with a cover.
- Place the lid on the container and mix the wings gently with the buttery garlic Parmesan wing sauce.
- Place the wings on a dish, serve, garnish if desired, and enjoy!
Notes
After plating, we like to top the wings with extra grated Parmesan cheese.
