Ingredients for Cajun Chicken Fried Rice with Kielbasa Sausage
Marinade for chicken
- Frank’s Red Hot Sauce (two tablespoons) (Original)
- Soy sauce (two tablespoons) (Low Sodium is Preferred)
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
Recipe for Rice Seasoning
- paprika, 2 teaspoons
- Black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon
- Ground Thyme, 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder, 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce, 2 tablespoons (Low Sodium is Preferred)
Blackstone Ingredients for Cajun Chicken Fried Rice
- 2 each – Chicken Breasts (if available, Otto’s is recommended)
- Kielbasa or Eckrich Skinless Smoked Sausage, 1 package (comes in pack of 2)
- 5 eggs per person
- 1 onion (yellow or little red)
- Green Bell Pepper, 1/2 each
- Red Bell Pepper, 1/2 each
- 4 cups cooked rice (we like Botan’s Calrose White Rice, but jasmine works well too)
- 2 Tablespoons Garlic, minced
Cajun Chicken Fried Rice with Kielbasa Sausage Recipe
Cajun Chicken Should Be Marinated
Place the minced garlic in a dish or freezer bag.
The original Frank’s Red Hot sauce comes next.
After that, pour in the soy sauce.
Combine everything well.
Chicken should be cut into cubes or thin slices.
Add the chicken to the mix.
Mix everything together well and chill for at least one hour.
Cook the rice, ideally in a rice cooker, while the chicken is marinating.
For the Blackstone, prepare the Cajun Chicken Fried Rice.
All of the vegetables and smoked sausage should be cut up.
Make the seasoning mix.
Place the marinated chicken on the Blackstone and cook until it reaches 165 degrees on the inside. Place the vegetables on the opposite side of the griddle and sauté them while the chicken cooks.
Pull the chicken out of the oven and put it aside. Cook the smoked sausages until they are heated through and through.
Pull the vegetables out of the oven and put them aside. Add the eggs and scramble them while the smoked sausage is cooking. Pull them out and put them away after they’re finished.
The rice should be thoroughly cooked, pulled, and cooled in a pan at this point. Fill the Blackstone Griddle halfway with rice.
Mix in the soy sauce well.
After the soy sauce has been well combined, add the other spices and thoroughly combine.
Once the rice has been lightly browned, add all of the other Ingredients and completely combine.
Remove from heat, plate, and enjoy!

Instructions
- Place the chicken in the marinade once it has been diced. Refrigerate the chicken for at least an hour before serving.
- In a pressure cooker, cook the rice and leave it aside to cool.
- Cut up all the veggies, smoked sausage and set aside the rice seasoning & soy sauce.
- Cook and put aside the chicken.
- Set aside the vegetables once they have been sautéed.
- Cook and put aside the smoked sausage.
- Set aside the scrambled eggs.
- Fill the Blackstone with rice. Add the soy sauce and mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper and sauté the rice.
- Add everything back to the blackstone and Combine everything well.
- Pull, plate, and enjoy once cooked!
